Worked with the Together for Akron transition team on producing two inclusive events that celebrate the inauguration of Mayor Malik.

The Swearing-In Ceremony was held at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall at the University of Akron. This production included over 70 diverse performers or speakers with music, comments from elected officials and other community members, a ceremonial oath, and remarks from Mayor Malik. Accessibility features included sensory bags from the Accessibility Library and simultaneous interpretation in Spanish and Nepali.

A family-friendly Community Celebration took place later in the day at House Three Thirty with pop-up performances, a participatory mural activity, sensory bags, a quiet space, and activities for children.
